As a veteran entertainer and huge theater lover, I was thrilled to be contacted by this accomplished regional actor to provide him with some updated head-shots. I’d like to share a little about his background, let you see which pics were his favs and inform you of his latest production.

Andre’ Provencher is a native of Jacksonville, Florida, where he began directing short scenes, monologues, and one-act plays in his drama class in high school. He wrote and directed a handful of public service announcements for various TV stations in the area and appeared in several prominent theater companies, such as Theatre Jacksonville and River City Playhouse.
Since relocating to Orlando in 1990, Provencher has contributed and directed material for local cabarets, awards shows, holiday specials, and fund-raisers, including Jewels In the Night, a star-studded event at the Annie Russell Theater in Orlando, Florida. In 1992, he co-founded the Hat Box Revue (HBR) alongside Larry Tackett. Provencher produced and directed such diverse plays as Tennessee Williams’ Talk To Me Like the Rain and Let Me Listen…, Claire Olivia Moed’s Love Slapped Me Boom Boom Upside My Head, Harvey Fierstein’s Widows & Children First, the Christmas extravaganza We Need A Little Christmas!) and the Hat Box Revue’s BABY JANE!- The musical comedy., a musical parody of the classic film Whatever Happened to Baby Jane?. He has recently directed a Music Hall Version of Lionel Bart’s Oliver! and a 1940s interpretation of Frank Loesser’s The Most Happy Fella for the Melon Patch Players in Leesburg. Andre’ also directed Robert Harling’s Steel Magnolias in Montverde, Florida, for the South Lake Theatre Company’s inaugural season.

He was last seen as Tony Esposito in Frank Loesser’s The Most Happy Fella at the Melon Patch and will be performing in their upcoming production of Guys and Dolls which opens mid-September. Andre’ is the proud recipient of two Cubie Awards and four Saras for performances throughout Lake County. He currently lives in Orlando, Florida, with his partner of eighteen years and their Pomeranian daughter Zora.

What a pleasure it was to capture this outstanding Orlando family.
They agreed several months ago to work with me on a shoot when I felt that I would be able to get back into my business (Having a son in a hospice situation can really take a toll). These guys were ready to rock early and were up for anything. We decided on a downtown urban session and, as you can see, they are such entertaining naturals.
I cannot thank you guys enough for your time and outstanding attitudes.
Hope you enjoy these samples of our time together.

May you and those you hold dear enjoy a Happy Independence Day!

*Dedicated to our brave friend LCpl Leitch, James E. USMC*
Thank you so much for the service you and those who serve with you provide our nation!
With our Independence Day only weeks away, I just had to share the latest American enthusiasm of a highly skilled 3 year old.

Smile much.

I decided to take a chance this week and enter an i heart faces baby themed photo challenge. *Insert nail biting HERE*
Having just completed the newborn captures of this handsome little guy, I chose to enter this particular photograph because I absolutely love how he seemed to be looking right at me with those sweet wide eyes as I focused on his tiny face. At only a week old, he was amazingly alert.
I just adored this fella and I think you will too.
Please click HERE to see all of the other wonderful baby themed photographs.

I had the absolute joy of capturing this handsome curl of cuteness as he concluded his first week in our world.
He seemed to keep everyone on their toes, pacing and waiting, as he decided when he would finally make his arrival. But hey, you can’t rush greatness, right?
He is amazingly blessed to have 2 of the most intelligent, compassionate and loving parents a sweet spirit could be sent to.
******
Jonathan and Shea, I enjoyed every minute with you guys… From dodging a severe thunderstorm that almost blew us over during the first shutter click (Yes folks, we immediately headed in and postponed)… to our sometimes successful and often times unsuccessful escapes from the suspected incidents that occur during newborn shoots (Hope you guys have a really good washer and dryer).
I hope you enjoy a look at some of the captures of your precious new “family”. I can hardly wait to go out and play some more!

With a huge adoration for dinosaurs, dogs and dirt, this little guy can steal your heart.
He will be 3 years old next Saturday!

The story is about a little wave, bobbing along in the ocean, having a grand old time. He’s enjoying the wind and the fresh air-until he notices the other waves in front of him, crashing against the shore. “My God, this is terrible,” the wave says. “Look what’s going to happen to me!”
Then along comes another wave. It sees the first wave, looking grim, and it says to him, “Why do you look so sad?”
The first wave says, “You don’t understand! We’re all going to crash! All of us waves are going to be nothing! Isn’t it terrible?”
The second wave says, “No, you don’t understand. You’re not a wave, you’re part of the ocean.”
(An excerpt from Tuesdays with Morrie by Mitch Albom ~ Quote by Morrie Schwartz)

Do you ever have those day when you feel like that little wave?
May you feel the peace of remembering you are truly part of the ocean.

“What is this life if, full of care,
We have no time to stand and stare?”
—W. H. Davies
“Every child born into the world is a new thought of God, an ever fresh and radiant possibility.”
— Kate Douglas Wiggin
