Joshua

Sweetness!

Born on October 12th and weighing in at 7.5 lb.s (19.5 inches long), I could not believe how incredibly relaxed and aware this little fella was of his surroundings.

I was in awe of his laid back disposition.

I guess the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree though. Mommy actually CHOSE to give birth naturally. Yep… She is an amazing woman.

It was quite dear to witness how loved and doted upon this precious guy was by both of his parents. I believe he will bring them both much joy.

Introducing… Joshua Cole.

Aidan | Orlando Newborn Photographer

Awwwwww…

This little fella was so cuddly. I just wanted to keep holding him any chance I could.

Born at 6 lb.s 11 oz., little Aidan weighed all of 6 lb.s 6 oz. when I captured him at just 8 days new. One of Aidan’s Mommy’s friends presented her with a gift certificate for a newborn session as a gift during her baby shower. Yay!

(Now is where I plug that it is an AWESOME idea to gather some folks together and get a Blessed Little Family Photography Gift Certificate for that special friend of yours who may be expecting a baby soon. They make excellent gifts that baby will never outgrow and family can look back on and appreciate for years!)

Of course, our handsome little prince was so interested in trying to take in the abundance of his new surrounding that he had absolutely no interest in sleeping whatsoever. Hahaha… We waiting him out though and after a while I was successful in capturing some adorable pictures I believe his mommy and daddy will be thrilled with.

Oh, and might I add, daddy is a Marine.

Introducing Aidan…

Conversing with Tink

I discovered Pinterest this week and I am officially HOOKED!

There is an unimaginable amount of inspiration out there…. for everything. I wish I could stay up all night long to try to take more in. Simply adore it.

I came across a lovely pin originating from flickr and titled “Secret” by MistoAcrilico (you can view it HERE). I knew i just had to give a version of this a try with my 4 year old.

Not too terribly bad for a few quick shots at bedtime on the kitchen table in the living room with a sheer drape folded over 4 times and a 580EXII off camera, behind the drapes.

Added some slight photoshop magic and tada!

It may not be technically well done, but as a parent of the little boy in the capture… I love it. It is so very much where he is at right now. =)

Enjoy!

The Mccumber Family

Love, love, LOVE this family!

As most of you know, it has been a rather toasty oven across most of the country lately. Well, unfortunately, the morning of this family’s photo session was exceptionally hot… and steamy. Here in the sunshine state, we not only have the heat that comes with beautiful summer days, we also have the heavy humidity.

These guys did an awesome job of braving this muggy Florida morning and the mosquitos that showed up to share it with them. (Sometimes, battery-operated fans are just not enough)

We turned to the indoors for the larger portion of the photographs of the twins, but not before nabbing a few of mommy, daddy, big brother and everyone as a family.

Totally cute, right?!

…………

To leave off, I wanted to remind everyone that Christmas will be here before you know it. Yep, Christmas! Seems odd to be thinking of the holidays as we search to shade ourselves from all of this heat.

Time to think of those wonderful family captures and portraits of the children as they sprout up before your eyes. Grandmas and Grandpas will certainly be waiting. =)

I will be holding special mini-sessions during the month of October.

Keep your eyes peeled for the special announcement with discounted pricing.

And, just to close out this post on a merry little note, how about a touch of Christmas Spirit?!

I think he’s excited to meet Santa! LOL!

New Addition

Meet the newest addition to the Blessed Little Family Photography family…

Canon 5D MarkII!

Due to the unfortunate circumstances in Japan, I had to wait much longer than anticipated for this new little gal.

Most of the components are created in Japan and the earthquake/tsunami shut down many of the areas where these components are manufactured.

After being on a waiting list, I finally received the news that she was HERE. Woo-hoo!

Can hardly wait to start clicking the shutter and capturing more memories for all of you.

New Website

Thrilled to announce that the new website is expected to be up and running by the end of this week!

Soooooo very excited!!!

Check back and let me know what you think.
